Ann Miller Having Stockings Applied
Original caption: Stockings that won't run, snag or get baggy at the knees. That's the kind that a Columbia Studio Makeup Man is putting on Ann Miller's shapely legs. The hose, applied by a sponge with a stencil to provide a fancy stocking top, will not rub off on Milady's clothing or furniture. The seam, which is always straight, thus eliminating another major worry in the lives of America's Beauties, is merely painted down the back of the leg.
