Store Clerk Kneels Wearing Legstick

Estimated to be spending one-third of their clothes budget for stockings alone, working girls have been worries about the rising cost of hose. So by way of experiemnt, four Seattle working girls in a large department store "donned" the newest imitation for hose, a "legstick." The girls worked the full day in their various departments without a single person noticing or comenting on their painted hose. A gal could walk through brambles with this pair of hose. Doris Tilton, wearing "legstick," no longer worries about bending her knees, or even kneeling on the floor.
